Apex Fund Services has seen its US head of business development exit this month, the administrator has confirmed.
Daniel Strachman, who led its US sales team, departs after just over a year with Apex.
A spokesperson for Apex Fund Services confirmed his departure and stated he has not been directly replaced yet.
Apex has been in the process of expanding its US team, particularly in New York, following the takeover of the Deutsche Bank business, and is aiming to recruit a number of sales people for the region.
Strachman has more than 20 years of experience within financial services with his most recent role being managing director at A&C Advisors.
Prior to this Strachman also held positions at Morgan Stanley and Cantor Fitzgerald.
He is also the author of nine investment strategy books including ‘The Fundamentals of Hedge Fund Management’ and ‘Getting Started in Hedge Funds.’
