Hedge Fund Performance Up 1.52 Percent in July, says SS&C GlobeOp

The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for July measured 1.52% and its Capital Movement Index showed net flows advance 1.32% in August.

“Fewer redemptions in August resulted in a net positive inflow for the month, with subscriptions outpacing redemptions by more than 2 to 1,” said Bill Stone, chairman and CEO, SS&C Technologies.

The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index is an asset-weighted, independent monthly window on hedge fund performance. On the ninth business day of each month it provides a flash estimate of the gross aggregate performance of funds for which SS&C GlobeOp provides monthly administration services on the GlobeOp platform.

The SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index represents the monthly net of hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the GlobeOp platform. This monthly net is divided by the total assets under administration (AuA) for fund administration clients on the GlobeOp platform.

Cumulatively, the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index for August 2013 stands at 150.31 points, an increase of 1.32% over July 2013. The Index has advanced 2.30 points over the past 12 months.
