Gravitas Technology Inc, an IT services firm specializing in hedge funds and private equity, has hired three new management executives: Robert Magee, Director Of Support Operations; Sal Mustafa, Director of Integration Services; and Marc Gelineau, Business Development Director.

Bob Magee is responsible for day to day support of client infrastructure, support services and project management, system integrations and telecommunications. Magee has had a career in the technology field for more than 20 years, primarily with financial services firms such as Shearson Lehman, Salomon Bros, Deutsche Bank, and most recently with Jefferies and Company where he was Senior Vice President of Global Technology Infrastructure. His responsibilities included prime brokerage technology hosting initiatives, systems and engineering, project management, and day-to-day support of the firm’s technology infrastructure. Magee has experience of floor relocations, systems integration, project management, data center design, customer support, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Sal Mustafa, Gravitas’ new Director of Integration Services, holds the responsibilities of engineering and architectural design including translating client needs into technological blueprints. He has experience of network infrastructure, operating systems, security, network management, storage management, disaster recovery, desktop management, and application development. Mustafa will also be responsible for project -delivery and implementation in his new role with Gravitas.
Prior to Gravitas, Mustafa was the Second Vice President of Information Technology as well as Senior Network Specialist with Bayerische Landesbank New York/Toronto/Montreal Branch where he was responsible for overall IT infrastructure from design, to implementation, to support.

As the new Business Development Director for Gravitas, Marc D. Gelineau is responsible for strategic relationships and partnerships and new business development. Prior to Gravitas, Gelineau was the Buy Side Sales Manager at Eze Castle Integration, responsible for all elements of the sales process for start-up and relocation of hedge funds.
Gelineau has also held the titles of Corporate Account Manager at AT&T Wireless and Senior Account Manager at XO Communications where he headed new business development.
Gravitas Technology has provided IT services to hedge fund start-ups since 1996, but it also acts for brokerage firms, investment banks and traditional asset management firms. Over the last year Gravitas’ main business focus has moved specifically into hedge funds, including infrastructure and integration; custom software; IT consulting; disaster recovery; and compliance Technology Gravitas has worked on the launch of over 25 hedge funds.
