DPM Mellon, the hedge fund administration business acquired by Mellon, has appointed Bob Sisti as senior vice president of operations and Bruce Rosenberg as vice president of financial reporting and accounting. Both are new positions.

Sisti, with responsibility for all operations as well as financial accounting and reporting, reports to both Castranova and Frank Dittrich, director of Asset Servicing Operations, Mellon Financial Corporation. In addition to ensuring client service quality, Sisti is charged with undertaking a strategic review of DPM Mellons global operating platform to ensure it keeps up with the needs of the marketplace.
Previously, Sisti was global head of operations and infrastructure development at State Street Global Markets. Prior to that, he was a partner at S3 Asset Management. Sisti held the position of global business manager for the equity derivatives and convertible unit at Credit Suisse and was the co-head of North American operations at Barclays Capital, where he engineered the operational infrastructure to support the acquisition of Daiwas global equity finance business. At Lehman Brothers, Sisti collaborated on the model for the first equity financing business by engineering the consolidation of the firms prime brokerage unit with its securities lending business. He held various additional senior management positions during his tenure at Lehman. He holds a bachelors degree in history and economics from Brooklyn College.
Rosenberg, who reports to Sisti, is responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting, tax-related and operational areas for alternative investments. In addition, he is in charge of maintaining accounting records of investment portfolios structured as partnerships, trusts, and separately managed accounts. He joins DPM Mellon from BISYS Group, Inc., where he was vice president, accounting. Rosenberg also was treasurer of the mutual funds at Franklin Resources dba Franklin Templeton Investments; a consultant; and audit senior manager, Coopers & Lybrand. He earned masters degree in accounting from University of Wisconsin Madison and a bachelors in agricultural economics from Cornell University.
