Hajjaji Appointed COO of Societe Generale GIMS

Karim Hajjaji has been appointed COO of Global Investment Management and Services (GIMS), the division of Societe Generale, which comprises Private Banking, Asset Management and Securities Services. He joins the executive management of GIMS.

Hajjaji retains his functions as CFO of GIMS. Reporting to Jacques Ripoll, he is a member of the GIMS Executive Committee. The previous COO of the GIMS division was Olivier Lecler, who is now CEO of Societe Generale Private Banking in Monaco.

Hajjaji joined Societe Generale in 1999 as head of Financial Control at the Corporate & Investment Bank. From 2005 to 2009 he was CFO of SG Americas, where he supervised Societe Generales financial activities in the US, Canada, Brazil and Latin America. In July 2009, he was appointed CFO of the GIMS division at Societe General and became a member of the GIMS Executive Committee, reporting to Jacques Ripoll, head of GIMS.
