Group G Capital Partners, LLC, a fixed-income investment managerspecializing in alternative credit strategies, announced that Marc Frank has joined as head trader.
Frank, 41 years old, is responsible for implementing the firms credit strategies and reports directly to Geoffrey Gwin, chairman of Group G.
“Marc brings an exceptionally high caliber of trading expertise to Group G,” said Gwin. “His presence will be instrumental as we look to enhance our team and our strategies.”
Frank brings more than a decade of both sell-side and buy-side trading experience to Group G. Most recently, Frank was a trader at Duquesne Capital Management, contributing to a fund that specializes in high yield and distressed investing. Prior to Duquesne, he was a trader at Fortress Investments, another distressed investing hedge fund.
Before he joined Fortress, Frank was head of High Yield Trading at JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management and a High-Yield Trader at CIBC World Markets. Frank received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy andFinance from SUNY at Fredonia.
