Gresham Computing plc since becoming a SWIFT Standardised Corporate Environment (SCORE) member earlier this year it has now commenced piloting the innovative ‘Lite’ connectivity application.

“Lite” is SWIFT’s new connectivity option that provides a direct access to SWIFT messaging services with increased simplicity and convenience and a faster implementation and setup time. ‘Lite’ is targeting small volume financial institutions and corporates with less then 200 messages or files per day. The messages that are supported relate to payments, cash management and FX.

“Gresham is at the forefront of real-time information delivery, working alongside global banks. As a result we understand the need for piloting new products and solutions,” says Chris Errington, CFO of Gresham Computing plc. “Indeed, when Gresham released its Cash Reporting Solution the pilot banks formed an essential part of the process. We are therefore delighted to assist SWIFT with their latest initiatives; SWIFT Mail and now SWIFT Alliance Lite. It is clear that the comments from corporates, including ourselves, have been taken on board since the solution now looks far more corporate friendly and far less ‘bank like’.”

“We are a UK listed group, with operations across three continents, so our treasurer has the same challenges as any of our counterparties, namely knowing what our cash position is at any given point how we move the cash and how we control it centrally,” says Eric Sepkes, chairman, Gresham Computing plc.
