Gravitas Technology, Inc., an IT firm focused on the alternative investment community, aimed to broaden its control-oriented investments in middle-market companies with the launch of private equity organizations in London and New York.
Gravitas was selected specifically to handle the design, project management and implementation of TowerBrook Capital Partners’ new offices
in New York and London and provide ongoing IT support services.
“We went through an extensive RFP process looking for a consultancy that understood the needs of a private equity shop and could take responsibility on a ‘transatlantic’ level for all aspects of IT support,” said Jennifer Glassman, chief financial officer at TowerBrook Capital Partners.
Gravitas Technology took over the day-to-day project management of the move in New York and infrastructure upgrade in London over a 16 week period. The efforts ended after four months, with the relocation of TowerBrook Capital Partners into its new offices in New York and London, with its own IT infrastructure and onsite support services provided by Gravitas Technology.
