Goy Harris Cartwright & Company (GHC) has selected BITA Risk, a division of COR-FS, to help their discretionary and advisory services growth. BITA Risk will be providing their client risk profiling and strategic asset allocation application, BITA Star.

GHC will be using the application to undertake risk profiling and investment suitability analysis. The application will promote FSA and MiFID compliance in terms of client classification whilst ensuring that only suitable investments are provided to their clients.

“We have been using the principals of modern portfolio theory for some time, and we had also implemented our own process of risk controlled investment appraisal where we took the investment risk away from the intermediary,” says Paul Harris, the CEO of GHC. “However, the BITA Star solution enables us to enhance this further and, along with our input on macroeconomic forecasting and our top down investment approach, we believe that we now have an excellent platform for providing the best possible service to our intermediary clients”.

“We are delighted that GHC have come on board,” adds Daryl Roxburgh, the Head of BITA Risk. “They are a dynamic, forward-thinking team with a great investment offering and we know that BITA Star will enable them to meet their investment and risk profiling needs whilst helping to reduce their business and regulatory risks. It is exciting to have extended our reach into the retail network so that all clients, regardless of their ‘net worth’ are assessed fairly and equally in terms of their risk profile and are only provided suitable investments.”
