Goldman Sachs has decided to take part in a program to buy mortgage-backed securities, which will have the support of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae.
The Federal Reserve has announced that as well as Goldman Sachs Asset Management, BlackRock Solutions, PIMCO and Wellington Management Company have been selected to help in this campaign.
