GlobeTax today has entered into a strategic alliance with Kler’s Financial Data Service to market its withholding tax reference data services in Italy and other European markets.
Kler’s supplies the economic and financial sectors with on-line databases and consulting services. Their mission is to provide reliable, complete and up-to-date on-line data and analysis.
“This is a perfect partner fit for our data services. We are seeing high levels of interest in both our on-line product e-TaxData Online and our SWIFT based data feed e-TaxData Distribution. We are looking forward to seeing a strong uptake of these data products over the coming months as a result of our alliance with Klers,” says Ross McGill, managing director, GlobeTax.
“There is a clear gap in the market for niche, high value withholding tax reference data. In corporate actions most custodians must manually research tax rates using multiple sources to verify accuracy before use. GlobeTax files over 1.7 million claims a year with a zero fail rate which immediately gives subscribers access to demonstrably high quality data,” adds Stefano Di Stefano, managing director, Klers.
Under the deal, Klers becomes one of GlobeTaxs preferred partners for the distribution of withholding tax data, joining Exchange Data International and Globalcustody.net.
“Both products provide access to our database of tax rates with approximately 1.8 million data points and detailed market notes across 230 jurisdictions. e-TaxData Online provides access via a secure web portal for online queries and tax planning tools, while e-TaxData Distribution is a straightforward data feed suitable for integration into STP and V-STP systems,” says Len Lipton, director, GlobeTaxs head office in New York.
