‘Global Investor’ magazine has rated Clearsteam as the best international central securities depository (ICSD).
In the survey Clearstream also qualified for a ranking in four European domestic markets. In Germany and Luxembourg, where Clearstream acts as the national CSD, it has been ranked in top position. Clearstream has also been ranked second in Austria and first in Belgium.
The latest results follow Global Custodian’s 2004 Review of Agent Banks in Major Markets, in which Clearstream as the best ICSD in the industry. The results showed that Clearstream received higher scores that its main competitor in all nine service categories and Clearstream’s overall rating showed a marked increase on previous years.
