GL TRADE has announced the operational launch within Socit Gnrale of an execution platform covering a number of European institutional markets, including the London Stock Exchange, Euronext, SWX and virt-x exchanges in Switzerland and the OMX Nordic Exchanges platform.
Socit Gnrale’s execution offering covers more than 60 markets worldwide and several themes: discretionary orders, market making, direct market access and algorithmic trading.
“The introduction of the GL TRADE solution for our execution offering will allow us to target a broad range of users,” said RichardHills, head of electronic execution at Socit Gnrale. “Not only will we be able to offer direct market access, via a full GL TRADE solution, but also our proprietary algorithms and our own execution desks.”
