Getronics PinkRoccade, the largest service bureau for payments in the Netherlands, will offer ACE Software Solutions’ PELICAN application to the local banking and corporate community.
Getronics currently processes more than 100 million payments per year on behalf of its banking and corporate clients, and will migrate all payment processing onto the PELICAN platform from ACE. This will replace their proprietary in-house system. The first client will go live in September with the remainder of Getronics’ clients in the Netherlands following shortly afterwards, thus ensuring full SEPA compliance.
“Having analyzed the available payments systems on the market, we chose ACE’s PELICAN platform because of its functionality, flexibility and the availability of targeted industry-specific versions for SEPA, SWIFT and corporate connectivity,” said Gerwin Brink, solution manager for payment services at Getronics PinkRoccade. “Additionally, PELICAN will give us the ability to adapt very quickly to changing market conditions and this will be demonstrated as we help each of our clients ensure technical and functional SEPA compliance.”
