Software firm Geac has appointed Alistair Bremner to UK Finance Sector – Sales. The appointment of Bremner signifies a sales drive in the financial services industry.
Bremner has worked for Dun & Bradstreet Software (now part of Geac), Peoplesoft and Saratoga Systems, and has experience of the financial services sector. He reports to Doug Bilsby, UK Sales Director for Geac MPC performance management software.
“Geac already has a prestige UK customer base in the financial services sector, including Chelsea Building Society, Britannia Building Society and Old Mutual,” says Bremner. “I look forward to expanding this base by showing other financial services companies how Geac MPC helps bridge the ‘strategy gap’ by linking their corporate strategies to day-to-day execution. Closing this gap will be increasingly vital as UK companies are under mounting pressures from the Operating Financial Review (OFR),Basle II and especially shareholders.”
