Leaders from three of the world’s biggest custodians will gather for a one hour panel to discuss the key trends and issues facing the securities services industry.

On 15 March at London’s Simpsons-in-the-Strand, leading custody experts from Citi, HSBC Securities Services and Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) will give an eagle-eye view of the key challenges and opportunities that are facing both custodians and their clients.

Panellists include Sanjiv Sawhney, global head of custody and fund services for Citi, Jane Karczewski, head of global custody, HSBC, and Matthew Davey, head of business solutions, SGSS.

Topics to be discussed include changes at the client level and how they are impacting custody services and pricing, branching out into servicing new asset classes such as private equity, ETFs and crypto funds, adoption of artificial intelligence and data scientists, and how custodians are recruiting the right and best talent.

Registration for the panel will open at 4:15 pm, with the panel taking place from 4:45pm.

The panel will be followed by a cocktail and networking reception, and those invited will then make their way to the Savoy for the GC Leaders in Custody awards dinner.
