Boston Technologies, a provider of trading technology and software for FX brokerage firms, has appointed David Hastings as managing director of London and chief executive officer for BT Prime UK, its prime brokerage affiliate, in London, where he will oversee all operations in the region.
The latest hire by Boston Technologies, which is headquartered in Boston with additional offices in New York and London, comes as the company seeks to accelerate the growth of BT Prime UK in the UK market.
Most recently, Hastings was global head of FX Sales at Flextrade and will continue his non-executive director post at UK-based charting and technical analysis firm TraderMade. He has also held other senior management positions in the FX industry with State Street, Lava Trading and BNP Paribas.
