Fundtech, the payments applications provider, announced today the integration of its cash management service with Florida-based BankAtlantic’s image provider, creating a portal through which business customers can view images of checks.
The new functionality enables businesses to retrieve the images themselves in a timelier manner. As a result, the bank’s customers will be able to expedite cash management decisions, which will result in greater efficiencies, reduce check fraud and better service to their customers.

Gautney, Senior Vice President and Manger of BankAtlantic’s Cash Management Department. “By creating an online resource for viewing checks, our customers can retrieve the images early the next morning rather than having to wait for a fax, or statement in the mail. This will enable them to significantly increase processing efficiencies.”
In addition to the check-imaging portal, Fundtech provides BankAtlantic with a suite of bank-branded cash management services, including CashLink Electronic Banking, through its Fundtech Connect ASP environment.
BankAtlantic also uses Fundtech’s PAYplus browser-based payment system for processing funds transfers.
