FundTech, the payments system provider, has held an International User Forum designed to bring Fundtech’s global customers and industry leaders together to gain new insights into market issues, including consolidation strategies, cost and risk reduction, and delivering customer service. Over sixty attendees including nine speakers gathered for the forum in London, which was held today and yesterday.

“As a global bank that processes more than 50 million payments a year, the payments initiative we are working on with Fundtech is one of Citibank e-Business’ top five global projects,” said James Quinn, European Implementation Manager, Citibank. “Fundtech’s International User Forum provided us with a chance to share project objectives and methodology and learn from the success of other Fundtech users.”

“A key focus of this week’s conference has been improving Straight Through Processing (STP) rates and benchmarking,” said Reuven Ben Menachem, CEO, Fundtech. “The user forum is a chance for banking executives to share views, discuss global payments and treasury challenges, and exchange ideas.” “Fundtech’s International User Forum enabled us to receive updates on the latest industry initiatives and strategies, as well as to demonstrate to attendees how ANZ Bank has benefited from centralizing its payments with the help of Fundtech,” said Jim Karvounaris, Business Technology Manger – Payment Services, ANZ Bank.
