CityCompass Research says that FT Interactive Data, part of Interactive Data, has been accredited with the B.I.S.S. (Benchmarking International Software Systems) Gold award for Data Services, surpassing the benchmark tests set by RDUG (Reference Data User Group), acting as the industry user panel for CityCompass Research.

“FT Interactive Data has succeeded once again by achieving the B.I.S.S. Gold benchmark label for its corporate actions and reference data,” says Gary Wright, Managing Director, CityCompass Research. “I am delighted that FT Interactive Data is able to prove the quality of its systems and services is meeting user targets in this very transparent process, and with higher scores than last year. FT Interactive Data is clearly demonstrating a continuous programme of enhancements to its systems and services that is very good news for the industry. In the year where the securities industry is going to have the tough task of confronting data requirements to meet new regulatory demands under MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive), this award will have even more relevance for market users.”

Robert Cumberbatch, Business Lines Director at FT Interactive Data Europe, says he was delighted to have surpassed the benchmark tests set by RDUG and achieved the B.I.S.S. gold award for the second year running, and with higher scores than last year. “We have a wealth of experience in gathering, updating, validating and delivering corporate actions and reference data, and intend to continue to provide financial institutions with the high standard of service that they expect from us,” he says.
