From the research desk: An update on digital accreditations

GC’s research team unveils the makeover of Global Custodian’s digital accreditations, with new regional badges up for grabs.

By Lottie Sweeney & Beenish Hussain

For the last 35 years Global Custodian has been at the forefront of global research and has been seen as a staple within the securities services industry.

Many of you will be aware that Global Custodian offers official digital accreditations, also known as badges for outperformance in the surveys. Our digital accreditations serve as the official mark of excellence for service providers who have achieved Outperformer status in the published surveys.

Now, in honour of our 35th Anniversary, these badges are getting an exciting new makeover, thanks to the work of our talented Design Team.

Not only are we expecting to get new designs, we are also launching a new Regional Outperformer badge for our Agent Bank Surveys. For those of you who have read our latest Frontier Markets research, published in the latest GC Magazine, you will notice that we are now breaking our results down by region. This means, those of you who have beaten the regional average are now eligible for a badge to highlight this fact.

The badges available are:

Global outperformer which is offered when your overall score in a certain market, exceeded the global average score.

Regional outperformer which is offered when your overall score in a certain market, exceeded the regional average score.

Market outperformer which is offered when your overall score in a certain market exceeded the country average score.

Category outperformer which is offered when your score in one or more categories in a certain market, exceeded the global average in that category or categories.

Those of you who have achieved Outperformer status will soon be able to proudly display these new badges. If you think you are eligible for one of the four badges then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Lottie.sweeney@globalcustodian.com or Beenish.hussain@globalcustodian.com  for more information.
