Financial Technologies International (FTI) says that Franklin Templeton Investments – an existing FTI customer – has bought its StreetReference reference data management application.

StreetReference, along with the previously installed accounting engine StreetBooks, will form the foundation of a global information data store at Franklin Templeton. FTI says the solution rests on StreetModel, a financial data model.

“At Franklin Templeton Investments, we are committed to providing excellent customer service to our clients. The ability to maintain a real-time view of our operations is key to maintaining excellence as we expand and grow,” says Jennifer Bolt, chief information officer at Franklin Templeton Investments. “The FTI solution will enable us to respond more quickly to our customers and provide them with an increased level of service.”

“One of the biggest IT challenges today continues to be the integration of data across an enterprise in order to better manage one’s business and achieve a consolidated view of one’s customers,” adds Mike Meriton, president and CEO of FTI. “FTI is proud to be selected by one of the world’s leading and most respected mutual fund companies as a vital foundation for driving key strategic initiatives such as customer relationship management, risk management and operations consolidation.”
