The Spanish stock exchange has begun trading 4 new ETFs issued by Lyxor Asset Management: Lyxor ETF New Energy, Lyxor ETF Japan, Lyxor ETF DJ Stoxx Select Dividend 30 and Lyxor ETF Leveraged DJ Eurostoxx 50.

The new funds will enable investors to trade in leading sectors such as renewable energy, cover new geographic zones, such as Japan, invest in the European companies with the highest dividend yield and increase the return on their investment by using leverage.

The Spanish stock markets ETF segment was created on 20 July 2006 and following the listing of the new ETFs it currently comprises of 26 funds. BME aims to broaden the range of ETFs by including new funds on other underlying indices, thus increasing the range of financial products offered to the financial community.
