Fortis Bank Information Banking has launched a corporate actions instructions tool, called GCA Web.

The banks says the tool is linked to its global corporate actions system, and enables clients to instruct and validate corporate actions, monitor the processing of them, and check historical data, in real-time.

Fortis says the advantages of GCA Web include instruction application on account level and per corporate action; optional separation of instruction and validation; automatic dispatch of reminder notices; an on-line list of corporate actions not yet formally instructed; status check of corporate actions and deadlines on account level; and round-the-clock access to corporate actions advices and circular notices from anywhere in the world, via the Internet.

The bank adds that GCA Web is a fully secure system.
