Fortis Fund Services has launched a new service, NAVSecure, which enables fund managers and institutional investors to access reports, statements and fund information on-line.
NAVSecure subscribers are also able to access historical reports and statements, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world. NAVSecure isaccessible via standard Internet browsers, but confidentiality of client information is secured by industry-standard encryption technologies.
The NAVSecure on-line service includes reporting, NAV per share figures, automatic notification, real-time portfolio queries, historical performance graphs, subscription, redemption and transfer requests, on-line fund documentation and a fully functioning secure email system.

In delivering NAVSecure, Fortis Fund Services has partnered with InvisiMail (IOM) Limited, an Isle of Man based security solutions provider.

NAVSecure uses InvisiMail’s new high-performance IPN technology to securely link Fortis’ clients to their information located in Fortis Fund Services’ offices around the world. NAVSecure technology provides encryption and digital signatures in a manner that is non-obtrusive to Fortis’ clients and that can be accessed, without restriction, from any Internet-enabled PC, without the need to install or configure any software.
NAVSecure will be prominently on display on the Fortis Fund Services’ stand at the 8th Global Alternative Investment Management Forum (GAIM 2002) in Geneva, June 12 – 13, 2002.
