Fortis has appointed Claude Noesen as director sales & relationship management for Prime Fund Solutions in Luxembourg.
Prime Fund Solutions, the part of Fortis Merchant Banking dedicated to servicing the traditional and alternative investment community, has hired Claude Noesen as a director for its Luxembourg Sales and Client Relationship team.
In his new role, Noesen will be charged with enhancing and expanding the service levels and product range for existing clients, and introducing the Prime Fund Solutions suite of services to new clients and markets with a main focus on continental Europe.
He joins the firm from HSBC in Luxembourg, where he headed up the business development department focusing on building the alternative client base. Noesen has gained extensive experience in financial markets through several senior front office positions within the financial services industry.
Prime Fund Solutions regards Luxembourg as a strategic component of its future development. With Assets under Administration and Custody in Luxembourg approaching 100 billion, it remains one of the largest and longest serving providers of administration, custody and finance to traditional funds, hedge funds, fund of hedge funds and privateequity /real estate funds in the Benelux region.
