“Our company has focused on creating innovative and affordable solutions for the industry that are proven and robust,” says Alberto Fontana, Managing Director, Financial Tradeware. “We firmly believe that SWIFT connectivity can bring benefits to the small to medium sized players in the market and this is fuelling a new phase of growth for us, as companies see the benefits we can deliver. The market demand for the solutions and services we offer is increasing rapidly and our reach is extending across the globe. We are very pleased to welcome to our team such a highly respected and capable professional as Graham, his experience from a SWIFT perspective will be a tremendous bonus for our clients.”

During his career at SWIFT, which spanned 20 years, Bright held positions in the international sales team, including heading interface sales into developing countries. He moved to regional partner relations at the inception of the SWIFT accreditation process for vendor products and managed the UK SWIFTNet FIN migration team, with responsibility for the IP communications and interfaces in the financial community.

Most recently he held account management responsibility in the UK and Ireland, in the Banking Industry Division. He represented SWIFT on the CHAPS Technical Committee, and worked on the worlds’ first market infrastructure using SWIFTNet – the Bank of England Enquiry Link service.

In this new role, Bright will head Financial Tradeware’s international team of client services representatives, providing software and low-cost SWIFT connectivity options to securities firms. He is also charged with building relationships and alliances with network partners, software application providers and service related companies.

“With many years experience in the SWIFT payments environment and in the financial software industry, I look forward to working with Financial Tradeware,” says Bright. “This is an excellent opportunity to work with a unique and exciting set of products and services, designed to handle the IT and business, regulatory and STP challenges in the securities industry.”
