Deloitte Financial Advisory Services has added David Bloch, a former SEC enforcement litigator and Department of Justice prosecutor to its staff, the company announced Monday.
At Deloitte, Bloch will work with law firms, corporate counsel and audit committees to assist with investigations arising from civil and criminal enforcement inquiries.
Deloitte says they believe Bloch’s former governmental experience will offer the firm a valuable perspective.
As assistant chief litigation counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, Bloch represented the commission during investigations concerning the collapse of a major energy and commodities company and also in various accounting fraud cases.
Bloch also brings 12 years of experience as a Department of Justice prosecutor to Deloitte.
