Hank Uberoi, the former Goldman Sachs Technology Co-COO, has taken a stake in Coexis, the provider of providers of the innovative rules-based Syn~ software backed by former Wilco founder Terry Williams. Uberoi will ascend to the Board of Coexis as a non-executive director following his investment in the company.

Until 2002 Uberoi was a Partner, Managing Director and Co-Chief Operating officer of the technology division at Goldman Sachs. After over 14 years at Goldman Sachs Hank joined the Citadel Investment Group, one of the largest hedge funds in the world, where he was the Chief Operating Officer and managed a significant equities investment business unit.

“Coexis has a great team of people whom I have known and worked with for over ten years,” says Uberoi. “They have developed a very promising product in Syn~ which I am confident will be very successful in the marketplace.”

Uberoi will advise Coexis on overall strategic issues. Terry Williams, chief executive officer of Coexis said: “I believe Hank’s addition to the team is a key milestone in accelerating the development of Coexis. His investment now demonstrates his faith in us and our Syn~ products to revolutionise the delivery of fast-to-change and low-cost-to-run software for capital markets.”
