According to a report released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, titled “Inward Investment in Japanese Equity by Overseas Investors,” foreign investors interest in Japanese equity is rising.
In the third week in February, overseas investors were net sellers of Japanese equity totalling JPY 331.9 billion.
This marks the first time in 5 months that overseas investors recorded net selling on weekly basis.
The total for the second week in February was JPY 228.9 billion.
