Erik Stein has joined Fiserv as Vice President of Solutions Architecture, Fraud and Compliance Solutions. Stein will be responsible for driving anti-fraud innovation and strategy for applications serving Fiserv clients.

Stein has more than twenty years of experience in fraud and risk management, most recently a senior director of Global Fraud Product Management at Fair Isaac Corporation. His role involved driving product direction by determining market needs, creating strategic roadmaps, and specifying functional requirements for a suite of fraud-related products.

Prior to Fair Isaac, Stein was executive vice president and director of Fraud Risk Management for a major mortgage provider. Within the company Stein was charged with enhancing the company’s fraud prevention, detection, investigation and mitigation systems and processes.

“As a recognized fraud expert and thought leader, Erik will be an excellent addition to our organization,” says Ron Thompson, general manager, Fraud and Compliance solutions, Fiserv. “Erik brings a depth of fraud expertise that can only be gained through working in the vendor and user communities for more than two decades. He has extensive experience managing fraud operations within financial institutions as well as providing fraud solutions to financial institutions.”

“I am delighted to join the Fiserv Risk Management team,” said Stein. “With one of the strongest collections of risk management assets in the market, we at Fiserv are extremely well-positioned to bring value to our customers in the face of increasing fraud risks.”
