Deutsche Borse announced today that the first Asian exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the XTF segment, the Fresco Dow Jones Japan Titans 100, started trading today.
The ETF is issued by UBS Global Asset Management under the brand name Fresco Index Shares and tracks the Dow Jones Japan Titans 100 index. The Dow Jones Japan Titans 100 index comprises the 100 largest Japanese equities.
Deutsche Borse claims a European market share of 45.6 percent for its EXT segment. Total trading volume was Euros 2.58 billion in January, the highest in Europe for the month. 66 ETFs are listed on the XTF segment.
