For the third year in a row, Ernst & Young have organised the ‘Prijs van de Vlaamse Regering voor de Beloftevolle Onderneming’ (Flemish Government Award for the Most Promising Company), together with the Flemish Government.
This year’s winner is Financial Architects. Dirk De Beule, one of the co-founders of the company, will receive the trophy tonight from Flemish Prime Minister Kris Peeters.
“‘De Prijs van de Vlaamse Regering voor de Beloftevolle Onderneming’ was organised by Ernst & Young for the first time in 2005. Together with Ernst & Young, the Flemish Government wants to indicate the importance of innovation and responsible management, which are two crucial elements in the economic development of our country. It wants to continue stimulating and motivating emerging and promising entrepreneurship,” says Jo Sanders, partner at Ernst & Young.
The prize for the most promising company goes to a first-generation company that is experiencing strong growth and stands out in one of the various criteria: competitiveness, innovation, globalisation, entrepreneurship, responsible management and vision.
Following a meticulous screening based on these key criteria, the jury finally chose Financial Architects. The company follows in the footsteps of Transics and Televic, who won the most promising company awards in 2006 and 2005, respectively.
