Finadium has released its annual survey of institutional investors on securities lending, collateral management and custody. This report is driven by data collected from 92 institutions and detailed interviews conducted with an additional 25. The report has been written for institutional investors and their service providers to provide insights into the market environment for 2010.

This report covers three subject areas:

– Securities lending programs, including revenues, expected changes to inventory supply and acceptance of alternative routes for lending securities.

– Collateral management, including risk tolerances and the willingness of institutional investors to split securities lending and collateral management activities among multiple service providers.

– Custody, including perspectives on bundling and unbundling as well as the cost arguments for each approach.
