On the 17th of September 2007 Fidessa group plc announced the launch of its MiFID range of products, services and trading links created for brokers.
The Fidessa MiFID software provides services that cover five key areas:
Fidessa EPOCH – provides execution policy, order compliance and handling functionality and is available as an independent service to non-fidessa platforms or fully-integrated into the existing Fidessa trading solutions.
Virtual market view – Fidessa brings together multiple, low latency market data sources into one virtual market view to support MiFID execution obligations.
Smart order routing Fidessa allows users to smart route orders to different destinations depending on specified criteria.
Trade reporting Fidessas trade reporting rule engine automates all post-trade reporting.
Client classification Fidessas client database functionality is being extended to include new client classification criteria.
Fidessa is also releasing a series of MiFID related upgrades to existing exchange gateways and data feeds such as Deutsche Bourses new Xetra trade reporting facility and links to new venues such as Chi-X and Project Boat.
