Fidelity has become the first fund manager to go live with transaction history messages on EMXCo, the UK mutual fund order routing and messsaging network.

EMXCo says Fidelity has become the first provider to fully utilise the transaction history function within the reconciliation suite of the EMX Message System. “We are pleased to be the first provider to offer the transaction history messages,” says Jamie Wakeman, Director, European Retail Operations at Fidelity. “Our service strategy is to be able to offer a broad range of messages to meet the demands and expectations of our clients.”

The fund manager joined the EMX Message System in June 2000 and, since then, has been working closely with EMXCo to improve and update the functionality of the EMX Message System.

“The transaction history provides a clear breakdown of activity on the account making the reconciliation process faster and more efficient,” says Tony Wood, Head of Sales and Marketing at EMXCo. “We are delighted that Fidelity have adopted this functionality to extend the range of benefits they are able to provide from the EMX Message System.”

The EMX Message System currently routes over 1 million messages a month and around €169 million of orders each working day. The transaction history functionality is available for adoption by all intermediaries and providers using the EMX Message System.
