Colin Brooks, global head of sub-custody and clearing at HSBC Securities Services has left the bank, Global Custodian can reveal.
Brooks began his career at HSBC as a business systems manager in 1990, where he relocated from London to Hong Kong, and will leave after serving 25 years at the bank.
During his time at the bank, he has led HSBC’s Securities Services strategy in Asia, serving as deputy head for Securities Services Asia Pacific, chief operating officer for Securities Services Asia Pacific, and head of Service Delivery, Custody and Clearing.
Brooks’ LinkedIn Profile says he is “pondering his next move”. A spokesperson for the bank confimed his departure, but provided no further details on personnel.
