John Mason has moved to financial data management firm Netik to become chief operating officer. The former Smartstream UK managing director and CEO of DClear Utilities will be responsible for Netiks day-to-day global operations.
Prior to joining Smartstream in 2008, Mason was Managing Director, EMEA for Capco Reference Data Service (bought by Netik in 2008) and has held management positions with BCS Plc, Aleri and GoldenSource
Mason will report directly to Rob Flatley, CEO and president of Netik
The addition of Mason to Netiks executive team demonstrates how serious Netik is in attracting high quality, experienced staff as it continues to expand. I know he will apply his distinct set of skills and significant experience in financial services to focus and drive the companys performance forward, says Flatley.
Netik has also recently appointed Frank Sieracki as MD of North American Sales and Ed Creswell has moved internally into the position of head of European Sales.
