Coexis, the innovative software firm set up by Wilco founder Terry Williams, has hired Roy Staines as managing director of US Operations. Staines was until recently ADP Brokerage Service Group managing director responsible for strategic accounts, and is a previous president of ADP-Wilco, ADP having acquired Wilco.

“Coexis is leading a sea change in software technology which enables greater business agility for benefits to be realised in the short-term,” says Staines. “That is something that is not often experienced with software projects in the banking industry which is why I am excited to join Coexis at this expansion stage of their development in the US.”

“Having made ground-breaking progress with the implementation of our core technologies and software applications at leading institutions, we are embarking on a significant stage in our development with investment in our US operation,” adds Terry Williams, who is now chairman of Coexis. “We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Roy’s experience and knowledge of the domestic and international markets assisting us at this important time.”

Coexis offers a range of so-called Syn~ applications, which use a process-oriented, rules-based approach that aims to free users from the cost ands awkwardness of bespoke solutions. The current applications cover order routing (Syn~Routing and Syn~Orders) and Reference Data (Syn~ReferenceData).
