European hedge fund manager Marshall Wace is to float a newly formed company, MW TOPS Ltd, on Euronext Amsterdam. They are hoping to raise €1 billion ($1.3 billion ) to invest in their trading strategies.
Marshall Wace has appointed Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and UBS as joint global co-ordinators of the share offering.
It is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
