Mr. Jean-Franois Thodore, CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board of Euronext NV, and Mr. Nai-Jen Wu, Chairman of Taiwan Stock Exchange Corp., signed a Letter Of Intent on general cooperation during the Annual Meeting of the World Federation of Exchanges on 1 November 2005 in Mumbai (India).
Taiwan Stock Exchange and Euronext intend to examine the scope for cooperation in mutual market development.
This Letter Of Intent will constitute a frame for signing a formal Memorandum Of Understanding.
