The shareholders of Eurex Zrich AG elected Urs Regsegger as member of the board of directors during the extraordinary general meeting on 26 June 2008.
Urs Regsegger will replace Heinrich Henckel, who has resigned from the board of directors, with effect from 1 August 2008. He has been appointed member of the board for three years. Urs Regsegger has also been elected to the supervisory boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Clearing AG for a period of five years.
Urs Regsegger is CEO of the group executive board of Swiss Financial Market Services AG, the parent company of SWX Swiss Exchange AG. SWX and Deutsche Boerse jointly operate Eurex.
