eSecLending has hired former Brown Brother Harriman executive Jeffrey O’Neill as managing director, global head of trading.

At eSecLending, O’Neill will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s securities lending trading and strategy globally. O’Neill has worked in the industry for over 20 years and held similar positions in past: at BBH, he served as global head of securities lending; at K Capital Partners, he serves ad head of securities finance; at State Street, he served as vice president, head of global equity trading.

O’Neill has two degrees from Boston, where eSecLending is based. He obtained a B.S. in business administration from Northeastern University and an M.S. in finance from Suffolk University.
