EMXCo, the company behind the EMX Message System, have increased their Continental European Sales Team.
The appointment of Stephane Fioretti in January 2006 and Jerry Eriksson in late 2005 is the next phase in EMXCos plans to replicate their UK success in the cross border and other European markets, a news release said.
“This latest expansion within our European sales team underlines our commitment to automating the funds industry and continuing our geographical expansion,” said Jane Sidnell, who heads the Luxembourg operation.
“We have already had a great deal of success from our Luxembourg team and this is just the first of a number of initiatives that will allow us to realize the fantastic potential that exists outside the UK,” said Tony Wood, head of sales & marketing. “Our model, with no charges for the distributor, has been well received and the concept of one set of data, keyed once, in one format through one connection means participants can move data faster, cheaper, easier and safer than by phone, fax or paper irrespective of where they are based.”
EMXCo now route around 40 percent of all funds orders in the UK. In February alone, the EMX Message System routed more than 900,000 messages equating to GB4.8 billion in orders up by 67 percent on February 2005, the company said.
