Apex Fund Services has appointed Elliott Brown to the newly created position of managing director for the Americas with responsibility for overseeing the growth of the firm's North and South American offices.
Brown joins from J.P. Morgan, where he worked for 18 years and most recently was managing director responsible the bank's global hedge fund administration business. Before that, he was in the J.P. Morgan's Strategy and Business Development and helped to form its Hedge Fund and Private Equity Fund Administration businesses. He also has worked for J.P. Morgan in Australia in Relationship Management and Operations. Brown is a Chartered Accountant and fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia.
Apex America recently opened new offices New York City and offers office space to emerging fund managers as part of its new Emerging Manager Incubation Service (EMIS).
