Electra, a post-trade technology solutions provider headquartered in New York, has opened an office in London, which will be led by Andrew Kaufmann, managing director, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The London office is the company’s second location, and Kauffman will be responsible for growing the company’s presence in EMEA from that office. He will report to John Landry, CEO of Electra.

Before coming to Electra, Kaufmann served five years as vice president of fund administrator and technology provider Viteos Fund Services, where he oversaw the firm’s EMEA expansion. Kaufmann has also held executive roles at financial technology companies such as SS&C Technologies and SunGard.

“This move underscores our commitment to better serve our current and potential clients, and further establish ourselves as a leading full service financial solutions provider in the dynamic EMEA market,” says Landry. “Andrew’s deep knowledge of the financial services market and diverse background, as well has his stellar reputation throughout the industry, makes him a perfect fit for both Electra and our clients.”
