Software provider Electra Information Systems has launched a new version of Electra Billing, which provides asset managers with automated fee billing, customizable to their fee structure.

Buy-side users of the platform, particularly hedge funds with more complex trading patterns and fee structures, can now automate the loading of data such as client information, market values, cash flows, performance returns, and calculation of fees.

The platform has also added improved access to historical fee data and added security features such as allowing managers to track invoices delivered outside the automated delivery process, paving the way for a more detailed audit trail. Additionally, invoices delivered via email can now be encrypted and password-protected prior to delivery.

“We pride ourselves on providing our clients with the highest level of service possible. Part of that responsibility entails providing those investors with the confidence that we are using a highly accurate, secure, and automated fee billing solution,” says Julie O’Connor, chief operating officer at Johnston Asset Management. “We have found Electra Billing to be a reliable and intuitive fee billing platform, reassuring our investors we are accurate in our billing and easing the administrative and operational burdens on our firm.”
