Voca published figures last week naming Eiger Systems the leading United Kingdom payment processor in December 2005.
Eiger Systems, a European validation and payment processing solutions firm, processed more than 4.35m electronic transactions daily during the month using the company’s global payments platform, EigerPAY Gateway.
This represents 33.8 percent of all BACS payments, direct credits and direct debits, submitted via BACSTEL-IP. By the end of 2005, Eiger Systems processed more electronic transactions per month than any other BACSTEL-IP software provider, the company said in a news release.
Matthew Croxford, product manager for EigerPAY Gateway said he believes the company’s success reflects the stability, security and flexibility of the solution.
