Eagle Investment Systems has updated its portfolio management platform to support legal entity identifiers (LEIs) and recent cleared swap requirements under Dodd-Frank legislation.

The Eagle upgrade helps firms meet the reporting requirements related to LEIs by enabling them to store, analyze and report LEIs for issuers, counterparties, brokers, exchanges and depositories.

Additionally, the portfolio management suite has streamlined the processing of cleared swaps for clients, capturing and calculating deal information. That is to help clients with the Dodd-Frank mandate requiring swaps transactions to clear through exchanges.

"Eagle is committed to staying abreast of regulatory changes to help our clients adapt to shifting markets and remain focused on growing their assets," says John Lehner, president and CEO of Eagle. "We continue to make substantial investments in our products to help simplify risk management and reporting requirements for clients."
