ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services has expanded its relationship with A & O Services in the Netherlands to include investment accounting, performance measurement and attribution, analytical services, benchmarking, regulatory reporting, and independent administration and valuation of private loans, as well as global custody.
ABN AMRO Mellon has acted as A & O Services’ global custodian since the early days of the original ABN AMRO-Mellon strategic marketing alliance, which was established in late 1998.
Based in Rijswijk, The Netherlands, A & O Services was set up by the employers and employees of the construction sector (Afbouw en Onderhoud), and holds assets valued at Euro 3.7 billion. Servicing approximately 150,000 people, A & O Services also manages and invests assets on behalf of more than 20 principals.
“As our global custodian, ABN AMRO Mellon has proved a flexible and professional partner,” says Raymond Hiltrop, Chief Investment Officer at A & O Services. “The quality of their product offering meant that, when we instigated the RFP process to select a provider who could meet our needs in respect of value added services, ABN AMRO Mellon once again proved to be the leading candidate.”
“I am delighted that A & O Services has chosen to extend our partnership to take advantage of the local expertise and the broad range of sophisticated solutions ABN AMRO Mellon offers within the Dutch market,” adds Rene Wiegel, Senior Sales Manager, Benelux, at ABN AMRO Mellon.
